Best of Northeast Georgia: Voting made fun (without the robocalls!)

Ready to cast a ballot that settles something besides politics?
Ahead of the midterms, Best of Northeast Georgia offers a little friendly competition over the things we happily debate year-round: Who serves the best biscuits? Which mountain town has the most charm? And who’s the best mechanic in town?
Best of Northeast Georgia voting is open now through Nov. 23, with 129 categories and local bragging rights on the line. One of the best parts about our election: we won’t send annoying mail to your house or spam you with calls and texts!
Our ballot takes you all over Northeast Georgia. GrapeVine’s in Dahlonega and Sicily’s in Blairsville are in the Italian food mix. Independent Baking in Athens and Cravings in Maysville are among the bakery contenders. And Royston Drive In and Bell’s Drive-In in Toccoa give burger fans something to debate.
Beyond the menu, you’ll find 52 West Salon in Winder, Clean Cut Tree Care in Hartwell, Georgia Wiz in Commerce, and Angel’s Nails and Spa in Dawsonville.
Keep browsing: There’s Nieves & Pops Paleteria in Cornelia for ice cream, the Mason-Scharfenstein Museum of Art in Demorest for museum fans, and Lake Winfield Scott in Suches for campers. Your next click could uncover an old favorite—or a new place to try.
Got a favorite? Give them some love. Got a friend with strong opinions? Send them the ballot. Think your hometown deserves bragging rights? This is your chance.
Visit BestOfNortheastGeorgia.com and vote once daily through Nov. 23.
Winners will be announced Nov. 25.
